Although he lives outside of the North American Numbering Plan, his background and curiosity with our numbering system has led to significant contributions to both AreaCode-Info.Com and to numbering administrators in North America. An active contributor to AreaCode-Info.com since 1998, Sergiu is currently performing a deep analysis of the entire NANP (North American Numbering Plan) from several perspectives.
A current resident of Petah Tiqwa, Israel, with his wife Bobi, Sergiu is currently employed as a data mining consultant in the information technology field. Sergiu's 25 years of experience in the IT industry include 7 years as CSO (Chief Security Officer) in an organization, 9 years as a member of the Standards Institution of Israel (similar to NIST in Washington, DC), and one of three authors of Standard 1495-6 (approved February, 2001). This experience has helped Sergiu to develop his standardization, resource management & planning and data mining skills, which are an integral part of his contributions to AreaCode-Info.com.
