With more than eight years experience in technology, including telephony, networking, midrange, micro computing, technical writing, and support services, John founded AreaCode-Info.Com in 1996 as a free-access service when one of his former employers was unable to find sufficient information to update their national customer database.
A Pennsylvania native, John currently resides in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and currently employed in the technology field in an outsourcing contract for the United States Postal Service. In 2000, he sold off the ISP which hosted this web site, but just couldn't retire this early in his life.
In his spare time, he serves as Publicity and Publications Advisory Committee Chairman for PNC3, a National Philatelic Organization and webmaster/newsletter editor for the Henry Clay Philatelic Society. He has also launched a new business selling collectible postage stamps and coins online and promoting the hobby of Philately to the "Internet Generation".
